During the week of May 12, 2014, IGR's Dr. Pat Gurin and Dr. Kelly Maxwell will present the third annual Faculty Dialogue Institute, in partnership with the Center for Research on Learning and Teaching (CRLT). This two and a half day institute will allow 16 LSA faculty members to learn how to incorporate dialogic pedagogy in their classrooms. The highlight of the institute will be the opportunity for participants to explore the possibility of applying a dialogic approach to their own classroom experiences.
The institute will be followed up in the fall by a meeting of the institute leaders and participants. In it, participants will be able to share their experiences of incorporating dialogic pedagogy into their classrooms.
