The Program on Intergroup Relations' CommonGround program—known for its peer-led workshops rooted in exploring social identity—is offering a special eight week series on disability for U-M students this winter.

Through the Dialogic Workshop Series on Disability, participants will be guided by trained student facilitators and have the opportunity to reflect on their own ability status and experiences with ability, and meet others who are interested in dialoguing about disability. The series will run on Tuesdays from March 5 - April 23, 2024. Registration by March 1 (via Sessions) and a commitment to all eight sessions is required to participate.

This special offering complements CommonGround's existing request-based workshop process covering other topics, including entering communities, social identity 101, communicating across identities, allyhood, power and oppression, the American dream, social justice journeys, and more.
