Graduate Student Instructor (ALA 122)

IGR GSIs are part of a dynamic teaching team of instructors and practitioners who meet weekly to plan and implement the course strategy.  GSIs are equal partners in the grading, teaching, and evaluation of students in the courses.  The GSI position is a 50% appointment.

Communications Graduate Student Coordinator

We're seeking a creative and motivated graduate student to be our communications student coordinator and support our communications portfolio, with key responsibilities related to storytelling and coordinating our IGR Voice newsletter. This role is ideal for a graduate student with a strong passion for storytelling who is looking to contribute to IGR’s mission of fostering dialogue and understanding across diverse communities.

Social Media Program Assistant

The person in this role will design eye catching informational materials for engaging with our community online, create and implement virtual social media campaigns to build community virtually and stay engaged with our student community, and work to support IGR curricular and co-curricular opportunities including student engagement and community building on virtual platforms.

Workshop facilitator (CommonGround)

Workshop facilitators spark change on campus and promote conversation with other students about social identities. We welcome both new/inexperienced and experienced facilitators to join CommonGround. This is an opportunity to develop your facilitation skills.

Program Assistant (CommonGround)

The program assistant keeps a thorough record of CommonGround’s workshops, activities, and supplies. This role is also responsible for the evaluation and assessment of our workshops. Additionally, the program assistant provides valuable support to other team members by providing input on the direction of the program.
