Renée Boudreau (she/her/hers) is a junior studying women’s and gender studies with a minor in intergroup relations. She was a workshop facilitator with CommonGround for two years before becoming a program coordinator. Renée brings this previous experience into her work as she builds agendas and supports current facilitators. Her favorite parts about CommonGround are its values of community building and mutual care, because they’ve allowed her to build meaningful relationships across differences. These relationships, she feels, have built a strong team of people who are refreshed, authentic, and work well together. And, they carry into CommonGround workshops, which allows these values to be shared with other people. In a society with systems of oppression which support individualism and division, CommonGround creates a small pocket of the world that Renée is fighting to live in.
