As a program that is committed to the value of dialogue for creating social justice, we at IGR are pleased that the Michigan Daily has formed the "Michigan in Color" column. We are also encouraged by and proud of the participation of so many IGR students. Thank you for your thoughtful and valuable contributions, everyone!
Following are some IGR students who have had their pieces published in the column. (If we have omitted your name, please email deepali(at)umich.edu so that we may add it!):
- I love so we can heal by Alex Ngo
- Reaction is not a revolution and I am still sister outsider by Ciarra Ross
- I am not ashamed by Kevin Chung
- I just want you to listen by Harleen Kaur
We encourage any of our students to submit a viewpoint to Michigan In Color here.

Michigan in Color is the Daily’s opinion section designated as a space for and by students of color at the University of Michigan. To contribute your voice or find out more about MiC, e-mail [email protected].
