Among her consulting projects this past year, Anna Yeakley (PhD ‘98) co-facilitated a 3-day summer institute on dialogue facilitation skills for the SUNY Cortland faculty and staff, plus workshops at other institutions, and a number of online dialogue and facilitation trainings.
Penny Pasque (PhD '07) [pictured below, right] received the Egon G. Guba Award for Outstanding Contributions to Qualitative Research from the American Educational Research Association's QualSig. The first qualitative course Penny taught was at U-M with Dr. Patricia Gurin.
William R. Frey (BA '11, MSW '14) co-authored a new article, "A Narrative Analysis of the Group for Abolishing Whiteness: Tensions, Limitations, and Possibilities" (Affilia: Feminist Inquiry in Social Work) with Samatha Guz, Noelia Mann, and Retisha Warr.
Alex Borromeo (BFA '16) was promoted to senior social change storyteller at The Skillman Foundation.
Qiu Fogarty (MA '17) welcomed Kiki [pictured top right] to the world in October 2025. Qiu currently works as an academic adviser at the University of Chicago.

Terrance McQueen (MA '21) has joined Indian River State College as an academic coordinator.
Maya Ferguson (BS '23) started a new job as a firm-wide pro bono and community engagement coordinator at Fisher Phillips.
Eli Fabrick (BA '25) started a new role with Warner Music Group.
Sooyun Christina Kim (BS '25) will be attending the Columbia College of Dental Medicine.
Katie Lawson (BS '25) accepted a new job with Stradley Ronon in Washington, DC.
Amanda Webster (BA '24, MSW '25) started a postdoctoral fellowship in adult psychiatry and the Comprehensive Gender Services Program at Michigan Medicine.
Collyn Smith (MA '26) has joined The University of Chicago's School of Law as the alumni relations projects and data associate.
