Program Coordinator, CommonGround
Bio
Kara Bernas is a program coordinator on the Workshop Management Team for CommonGround at The Program on Intergroup Relations. She is currently a senior studying biopsychology, cognition, and neuroscience as well as Spanish, with a minor in community action and social change. She will begin as a full time MSW student at University of Michigan's School of Social Work in the fall. Before serving in her role as program coordinator at CommonGround, she was a workshop facilitator for two semesters and also facilitated for Summer Youth Dialogues. Kara has found CommonGround to be an extremely valuable learning experience and hopes to carry IGR's dialogue model into her future career.
